Cardboard Classics Co.
Shadowcasting is a performance type that developed out of the ritualistic and communal nature of midnight screenings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Cardboard Classics is a queer shadowcast company founded in 2017 in Brooklyn, NY. The simple idea behind it was: if we as children can see a spaceship in a cardboard box, when does that ability stop? C.C. creates work predominantly out of cardboard and other recycled / pre-owned materials in an effort to push against current trends of maximalism in theatre.
